About the event
Join us for the exploration of the Larvael mask.
The larval masks are large with simple shapes and a suggestion of expression. These are open masks available in the space; they inspire wonder, imagination, and madness, and bring an animal and fantastical dimension to the performer and the spectators. By wearing the mask in play, we see its expression and character developing from the individual performer.
This course is suitable for those who express themselves with their bodies, dancers, clowns, actors - and anyone curious to play with the theatrical mask.
