Larvael Mask workshop with Freya Stang

Join us for an exploration of the Larvael mask.

The Larvael masks are large with simple shapes and a suggestion of expression. These are open masks available in the space; they inspire wonder, imagination, and madness, and bring an animal and fantastical dimension to the performer and the spectators. By wearing the mask in play, we see his expression and character affirmed.
