As a collaborative theatre maker and artist, I create independent theatre and performances.

I bring stories, movement or clowning to the stage, in hospitals, care homes, prisons, art centres, academia, libraries, on the street, community spaces - wherever we can create art. This helps anyone in any space to engender fantasy and to create or tell their stories. I am passionate about representing voices that may not otherwise be heard.

As a healthcare clown, Freya is employed by Sykehusklovnene, Norway, as an artistic collaborator, coach and European connections Research and Development.

-2019-2023 Freya trained the new HCC clowns for Sykehusklovnene. She developed SK’s HCC training program and professionalised it by clarifying outcomes, support systems, and assessment processes. On behalf of Sykehusklovnene Freya, was a partner in the European Erasmus Project(together with Le Rire Mèdicin - France, Sorcosso Clowns - Italy, Dr Klauns Latvia and the University ofLisbon), which developed a level 4 standard for a Health Care Clowning qualification approved by the European Qualifications Framework.
